I'm a multidisciplinary designer, web developer and artist based between Prague/Berlin. My practice spans code, design, speculative research and contemporary art.
Much of my development work lies at the intersection of design and building; I'm self-taught and have been coding since 2018. I started with CMS-based websites and gradually moved toward Next.js and more custom builds: front-end and back-end systems, forms, interactive maps, audio-reactive visuals, font tools, data visualisations, digitalisation processes. Working as full-stack dev, I realised I actually enjoy the back-end side more; figuring out structure, logic, and how a site holds together over time. I like web projects where the site is not a static presentation but a working system: a platform, an archive, a tool. I learned to code before AI. Now I use it to move further into apps, Python, electronics, and similar areas.
In recent years I have come to understand that I am more drawn to the practical side of making; my interests have been shifting toward the technical side of production: 3D modeling, scanning and printing, licensed drone work, app development, electronics, AI research, and the tools and processes behind making. Not to step away from design, but to broaden what I can make and the tools I use, and to stay close to the technological condition of the present, where platforms, power and infrastructure shape the everyday life.
Together with Petra Popnagelová, I form one half of Eight G, a curatorial platform based in Berlin. I am also drawn to working within the art market more broadly; moving in the scene, installing shows, selling work and caring for it.
I'm interested to work within a collective or team on larger projects where many people bring different things to the table. That is the context where I feel most happy, rather than pursuing a solo path as an exhibiting artist, but I work independently just as well.
