The web app for exploring and composing with the Bertin variable font family from 205TF for the design identity of the HK Philharmonic. The site has three tools: the main logo and poster composer with two Bertin layers on an 11-point grid; FilHRAmonie, a variant with its own palette and poster typography zones; and Forum, an interactive stamp tool with gradient animation along user-drawn lines. Loading variable fonts which are further converted to shapes, laying out glyphs, randomizing axes and stylistic sets (ss01–ss04), and applying effects like blur, gradients, stripe/dot/bitmap textures, and outlines. Glyphs can be converted to vector paths and exported as print-ready PNG or SVG; Paper.js handles boolean geometry for cutouts. State such as color palettes is persisted in localStorage.
